Saqqara Road in Giza Governorate witnessed a tragic accident, after an angel car overturned inside one of the canals adjacent to the road, during the return of a family of 4 members from the hospital.
Details of the accident
The security services received a report that a car had fallen into a canal on Saqqara Road, and the civil protection and river rescue forces, supported by ambulances, immediately moved to the site of the accident.
Upon examination, it was found that the car was carrying a family of four people, and the steering wheel was loose in the driver’s hand, causing the vehicle to swerve and fall into the water.
The passengers were recovered and taken to the nearest hospital to receive the necessary medical care, while the competent authorities began removing the effects of the accident and re-establishing traffic flow on the road.
A report was drawn up regarding the incident, and the competent prosecution was notified to initiate investigations to determine the circumstances and causes of the incident.
