The security services at the Ministry of Interior revealed the circumstances of a video clip circulated on social media, which included a microbus taxi driver insulting a passenger and threatening him with an iron screwdriver in Cairo.

Upon examination, it was revealed that there were no reports in this regard, and on the 9th of this month, a verbal altercation occurred between the driver of the microbus “appearing in the video clip” and one of the passengers, as a result of which the driver of the car assaulted the latter by cursing and waving a screwdriver when the latter asked to get off in front of a hospital and did not remember the driver.
It was possible to identify and arrest the driver of the car, a driver – residing in the Qalyubia Governorate, and the tool used in the assault, and when confronted, he confessed to committing the incident as referred to.
It was also revealed that the car was seized on the 14th of this month and impounded at the Waily Police Department in Cairo for driving in the opposite direction, and legal measures were taken.
