Today, the city of Minya witnessed an unfortunate incident after the dust storm that struck the governorate caused a wall to fall on a car and a microbus, causing them to crash dramatically, with no confirmed reports so far of any human casualties.
The incident coincided with the bad weather that Minya Governorate was exposed to, as several areas witnessed strong dust-laden wind activity, causing turmoil in the streets and raising citizens’ fears, especially with some objects and barriers falling as a result of the strong winds.
The concerned authorities moved to the site of the accident immediately after receiving the report, where the traces of the wall were removed from the two cars, and the necessary measures were taken to deal with the repercussions of the incident, in addition to examining the surrounding area to ensure the safety of the neighboring buildings and that there was no danger threatening passers-by or residents.
