
The Red Sea Governorate witnessed a distinguished sporting conclusion to a tournament “Champions Cup” for football for teenagers and juniorsOrganized by Al-Arban Sports Club amid an enthusiastic atmosphere and strong competitions between the participating teams, and in the presence of a remarkable audience and a number of sports and executive leaders in the governorate.
The tournament came under the patronage of Dr. Walid Abdel-Azim Al-Barqi, Governor of the Red Sea, and under the guidance of Mr. Farag Abdel-Maqsoud, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the governorate, and under the supervision of Mr. Mamdouh Khalifa Ali, Undersecretary of the Directorate for Sports, within the framework of supporting and nurturing emerging sports talents and encouraging youth activities in the governorate.
Farraj Abdel Maqsoud witnessed the closing ceremony, where he praised the outstanding level of organization of the tournament and the emerging talents who presented a remarkable performance that reflects the amount of work expended in the youth sector, stressing that such tournaments contribute to the discovery and refinement of young players and support the march of sports in the Red Sea Governorate.
Participating in the coronation ceremony were Hajj Ibrahim Hussein, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Araban Club, Mr. Mohamed Jamal, Director of the Youth and Sports Department, Mr. Yasser Haraji, Executive Director of the Red Sea Football Region, along with Mr. Hassan Al-Jales, Executive Director of the club and Chairman of the Organizing Committee.
The tournament witnessed wide participation, including: 25 teams and 330 players From various clubs and academies in the Red Sea Governorate, the results resulted in:
Born in 2012: Al-Araban Club won the championship, and Abdo Dakhliyya won the best player award, Mohamed Neamat Allah the best goalkeeper, and Amr Ayed the tournament’s top scorer.
Born in 2013: The La Liga team won the title, and Mubasher Moawad won the best player award, Adam Massad was the best goalkeeper, and Mohamed Salah was the top scorer in the tournament.
Born in 2015: The Red Sea team won the tournament, with Malek Ahmed being crowned the best player award.
Born in 2016: The Best team won the tournament, as Ahmed Moamen won the best player award, and Omar Shaker was the top scorer in the tournament.
In a gesture of appreciation, it was awarded Excellence Shield for coaches of winning teams They are: Captain Ahmed Ismail, Captain Ahmed Al-Sheikh, Captain Muhammad Hamdi, and Captain Shaker, in appreciation of their role in preparing players and developing their skills.
The club management was also honored Sheikh of trainers, Captain Saeed Saeed In appreciation of his long career and great contribution in serving sports in the Red Sea Governorate.
On the organizational and technical level, the active role of the organizing committee emerged under the leadership of Captain Hassan Al-Jales and Captain Abdul Rahman Ali, whom the participants described as “the dynamo of the tournament,” in addition to the distinguished refereeing by Captain Muhammad Saeed Makki and Captain Ghareeb, and the sports commentary that added an enthusiastic atmosphere to the matches in the voice of Captains Muhammad Al-Senussi, Muhammad Mahmoud, and Mustafa Jumaa.
At the conclusion of the celebration, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports thanked and appreciated the management of Al-Arban Club, its Board of Directors, and all those responsible for organizing the tournament. He also praised the participation of the various academies and teams, including Al-Mina Youth Center, ASA Academy, Future Stars, and Future, stressing that Al-Arban Club continues its role as an incubator for sports talents under the umbrella of the Youth and Sports Directorate, which contributes to preparing a promising sports generation that raises the name of the Red Sea Governorate in various forums.
