The security services of the Security Directorate succeeded Qalyubia In directing a strong blow to a dangerous criminal hotspot, after it raided a den of outlaw elements within the scope of the Banha Police Station in an operation characterized by precision and speed, which resulted in the death of 4 criminal elements following an exchange of fire with the police, and one of them was arrested.
Information had been received by the Director of the General Administration of Qalyubia Investigations and the Head of Qalyubia Investigations, from the head of the Benha Criminal Investigation Branch and the head of investigations at the Benha Police Station, about the hiding of 6 highly dangerous criminal elements, who had previously been accused and sentenced to imprisonment and life imprisonment in cases of “drug trafficking, firearms, kidnapping, bullying, and forced theft,” and three of them were sentenced to death in cases of “premeditated murder – attempted murder – kidnapping of a female,” in the village of Al-Hofiain, District Center.

After codifying the procedures, and under the supervision of the Director of the General Administration of Qalyubia Investigations and the Head of Qalyubia Investigations, and under the leadership of the Head of the Criminal Investigation Branch in Benha, the Chief of Investigations at the Benha Police Station, and the assistants to the Chief of Investigations at the Benha Police Station, and in cooperation with the sectors (Public Security – Central Security), they were targeted in their hiding places within the scope of the two police station districts (Benha in Qalyubia – Zefta in Gharbia). When they sensed the forces, they began firing bullets at them. The interaction resulted in the death of 4 of them and the arrest of one of them. They were in possession of (5 pieces of firearms, “3 automatic rifles, 2 shotguns” – a quantity of bullets of different calibres).
The residents of Banha Police Station praised the efforts of the security services in dealing with the perpetrators of the incident, as they were dangerous elements who were trying to terrorize them.
Legal measures have been taken, the fugitive accused is being arrested, and the Public Prosecution has taken over the investigation.
The events of the incident occurred when, on the 19th of this month, the Quesna Police Station in the Menoufia Security Directorate was informed from a hospital that it had received the body of (a person – a resident of the center’s district) after being hit by a gunshot. When his father was asked, he reported that a quarrel had occurred between some people and (the owner of a clothing store – resident in the center district) due to disagreements between them, after which they fired gunshots, which led to the death of his son, who happened to be passing by the quarrel. This was documented in a video clip that was circulated on social media sites.
