The Supply Directorate in Qalyubia continued Its intensive monitoring campaigns Bakeries and commercial activities, in implementation of the directives of Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, and Engineer Hossam Abdel Fattah, Governor of Qalyubia, to tighten supervision and control of markets.

This came based on the instructions of Dr. Tamer Salah Mokhtar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply in Qalyubia, and with the follow-up of Engineer Amal Abdel Qawi, Undersecretary of the Directorate, where campaigns were implemented in the areas of Banha, Shebin al-Qanater, and Qaha, to monitor the compliance of bakeries and catering establishments with the laws.

The campaigns resulted in the issuance of 34 case reports against municipal bakeries, whose violations varied between producing underweight bread, producing bread that did not conform to specifications, not cleaning the kneading tools, not having an operating menu, closing without official permission, ceasing production, and not issuing bread to citizens.

A report was also issued to review the balance of a deficit of 110 bags of subsidized flour, in addition to 5 reports being issued against food stores for not announcing prices.

Five other bakeries were also visited, showing their commitment and the absence of violations, and the directorate confirmed the continuation of daily campaigns to control the markets, ensure that the support reaches those who deserve it, and take legal measures against violators.
