The local unit of the center and city of Nasser, north of Beni Suef Governorate, continued its efforts to raise the level of services provided to citizens, by intensifying cleaning campaigns, removing occupancy, and confronting encroachments, within the framework of the directives of Major General Abdullah Abdul Aziz, Governor of Beni Suef, regarding the necessity of continuous field follow-up and improving the civilized appearance in the streets and squares.
In this context, the local unit, headed by Shawqi Hashem, head of Nasser Center and City, implemented an extensive cleaning campaign in a number of city streets, including Gamal Abdel Nasser Street, Port Said Street, New Center Street, Shajarat al-Dur Street, Saad Zaghloul Street, Bani Zayed Road, Muhammad Farid School Street, Al-Mustafa Street, the Grand Mosque area, the Traffic area, and the Fatima Al-Zahraa area.
The campaign resulted in removing accumulations from the streets of the city and affiliated villages, as waste was supplied to the Kom Abu Rady factory, with a total of 78 tons of garbage and waste.
The local unit also launched a massive campaign to remove occupancy from city streets, with the participation of executive leadership and utility officials, which resulted in the issuance of 305 various occupancy reports, as part of efforts to restore street discipline and achieve traffic fluidity.
In a related context, the removal of several cases of encroachment on agricultural lands was carried out, in addition to the removal of two cases of encroachment on drainage property lands, with the necessary legal measures being taken against the violators.
