The Bulletin of Employment, Wages, and Working Hours is one of the important bulletins issued by the agency, and is relied upon to determine the minimum wages for workers in the public sector, public business, and the private sector.

The average monthly wage for workers in the public and private sectors during 2024 recorded an increase of 26.6%.

The average monthly wage for workers in the public sector, public business, and the private sector reached 6,336 pounds, compared to 5,005 pounds in 2023, an increase of 26.6%.

The average monthly wage in the public sector and public business was 14,660 pounds, compared to 5,796 pounds in the private sector.

The average wage for males in the public sector, public business, and the private sector in 2024 was about 6,523 pounds, while the average wage for females was 5,529 pounds.

The average wage for males in the public sector and public business reached 14,540 pounds, compared to 5,998 pounds for males in the private sector in 2024.

The average wage for females in the public sector and public business was 15,206 pounds, compared to 4,928 pounds for females in the private sector in 2024.

The average monthly wage for the most important economic activities was as follows:

19,897 pounds for financial brokerage and insurance activity, at 20,090 pounds for males compared to 19,307 pounds for females.

14,994 pounds for the activity of electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supplies, at 15,070 pounds for males compared to 14,557 pounds for females.

12,897 pounds for information and communications activity, 12,301 pounds for males compared to 14,916 pounds for females.

12,091 pounds for mining and quarrying activity, at 11,952 pounds for males compared to 14,842 pounds for females.

Average number of monthly working hours

The average working hours for workers in the public sector, public business and the private sector was 219 hours.

The average working hours for workers in the public sector and public business reached 187 hours.

While the average working hours for workers in the private sector reached 221 hours.
