Fedoc launched its all-new mini-computer in global markets to provide a unique and innovative user experience. The ViewDock G2 device stands out for its advanced design, which integrates a practical display screen and a 15-watt wireless charging base, in addition to its support for memory upgrades and connecting external graphics processing units via the fast USB4 port. This step comes after ViewDock’s success in launching its first version through the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform last year, and it is now making a strong comeback through the same platform.

The new computer has compact dimensions of 175 x 138 x 51 mm, saving valuable office space. The internal structure contains SO-DIMM slots that support the installation of up to 64 GB of DDR5-5600 random access memory operating in dual channel mode, in addition to two M.2 2280 slots to expand the storage space and a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet network port, while the compact, foldable screen has a size of 4.5 inches and displays its content at a resolution of 480 by 854 pixels to facilitate daily interaction.

Viewdoc offers multiple processor options to meet different needs and required performance levels. These options include processors from AMD, ranging from Ryzen 9 6900HX, Ryzen 5 7640H, Ryzen 7 7735H, Ryzen 7 7840H, Ryzen 9 7940H, all the way to the powerful Ryzen 7 8845H processor used in competing devices such as the Minisforum UM870 Slim, which is sold at a price of 665 US dollars, despite the absence of details. Additionally, experts are aware that there are noticeable gaps in performance and efficiency between these different processors.

The company is offering its mini computer at competitive prices starting at $639 for the first 200 backers through the crowdfunding campaign. The brand offers other options, including a basic version with a random memory capacity of 16 GB and a storage space of 512 GB at a price of 889 US dollars, as well as versions with a storage capacity of 1 TB coupled with a random memory of 16 GB at a price of 999 US dollars, and a higher version with a random memory of 32 GB at a price of up to 1299 US dollars.

The management plans to begin shipping and delivering the devices to backers and early buyers by August 2026. Despite the company’s positive record and its previous success in shipping the ViewDock Docking Station to users over the past year without any problems, experts always advise caution when dealing with crowdfunding campaigns due to the possibility of delays in the specified delivery dates or even the loss of the entire invested funds in some exceptional cases.
