The basic version of Motorola’s new generation of foldable phones, called the Razr 70, has appeared on China’s TENAA certification website to provide an early and comprehensive look at its technical specifications. The new device bears the model number XT2657-2, as expectations indicate that its official launch date will approach, along with the higher and more powerful version, the Razr 70 Ultra, during the next few weeks to compete strongly in the smartphone market.
According to the leaks, the phone will come with a 6.9-inch OLED foldable main screen with a display resolution of 1080 x 2640 pixels. On the external interface, the device also includes a secondary OLED screen with a size of 3.63 inches and a resolution of 1056 x 1066 pixels, allowing users to quickly interact with notifications, applications and basic controls without having to open the phone every time.
Although the certificate did not explicitly mention the name of the processor, it confirmed that the phone relied on an eight-core chip operating at a frequency of 2.75 GHz to ensure smooth and fast performance. In addition to this processor, the device is expected to have very wide memory options, as it offers a random memory capacity of up to 18 GB, in addition to a huge internal storage space of up to 1 TB to meet all users’ needs.

The leaks indicate a noticeable upgrade in the imaging system, as the phone includes a dual rear camera setup that relies on two sensors with a resolution of 50 megapixels each. It is expected that one of these lenses will work as an optical zoom camera with support for zooming up to 3 times, while the foldable internal screen includes a 32-megapixel front camera for taking selfies and making video calls with high-quality clarity.
Details of the certification revealed that the phone is equipped with a fingerprint sensor mounted on the side to enhance security, in addition to a dual battery system with a total capacity of about 4,500 mAh. The device features a slim design, with a thickness of 7.2 mm and weighs only 188 grams. Although the launch date has not been officially confirmed yet, the timing is likely to be announced soon, coinciding with the time frame for the launch of the previous generation in April of last year.
