HP unveiled its new EliteBook 6 G2q laptop, which comes with a 14-inch screen to enhance its series of leading devices. This innovative version relies on the advanced Snapdragon X2 platform from Qualcomm to deliver exceptional performance, as it is available with processor options including the powerful Snapdragon X2 Plus and Snapdragon

HP offers this advanced device with various memory options to suit all professional and daily needs. Buyers can choose between 32 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 RAM or a massive 64 GB of LPDDR5X-9600, depending on the type of processor chosen, in addition to providing ample storage space of up to 1 TB of PCIe Gen 4 and 2 TB of PCIe Gen 5 to ensure high speed in transferring and saving large data and files.

This compact computer features tremendous wireless communication capabilities that ensure that users remain constantly and quickly connected to the Internet. Qualcomm’s Fast Connect C7700 modem manages cutting-edge Wi-Fi 7 and advanced Bluetooth 6 connections, while the X72 modem provides full support for ultra-fast 5G networks to enhance productivity on the go. This comprehensive wireless system is completed by a dedicated NXP NPC400 controller for NFC technology to facilitate direct connections and sharing with other devices.

HP plans to offer six different screen options with resolutions ranging between 1200p and 1600p to provide an excellent visual experience. Although only one screen exceeds the 400 nits barrier in SDR mode to reach a peak brightness of 800 nits, the range includes stunning OLED panels that provide stunning contrast and vibrant colors, while other options feature support for variable refresh rates of 120 Hz to ensure very smooth display of graphics and visual content during work or entertainment.

HP claims that the battery of this pioneering computer can last an amazing period of up to 28 hours between charges to provide long-lasting power. Despite these tempting numbers, experts advise treating them with caution and waiting until independent and accurate reviews are issued to ensure actual performance. It is expected that this new device will replace the HP EliteBook G1q version, which is currently available at a price of 910 US dollars, by July of 2026, while the company has not yet revealed the official prices for any of the upcoming models.
