At a time when the new Apple phone, the iPhone 17e, offers double the storage space at the same price as the previous generation, Honor is preparing to launch an economical alternative with much lower prices and superior specifications in several aspects. This step comes to provide a strong option for users who are looking for devices with a limited budget but with capabilities that meet their daily aspirations.

The company is expected to officially unveil the Honor 600 Lite phone within the next few days, after the Winfuture website spotted the new phone at a retailer in Singapore. The device appeared there with 8 GB random memory and 256 GB storage space, at a price of 399 Singapore dollars, to be a fierce competitor in the middle category.

The phone features a modern design that includes a pill-shaped camera hole similar to the designs of modern Apple phones. The device relies on the Dimensity 7100 Elite processor from MediaTek, and although it offers lower performance than its competitor, it remains an excellent choice. The phone comes with an IP66 standard for water and dust resistance, with no support for wireless charging and MagSafe technology to reduce the overall cost.

The phone comes with a 6250 mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. The device offers a 6.6-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2600 x 1200 pixels, with a super brightness of up to 6500 nits for HDR content. Although details of the refresh rate have not been confirmed yet, expectations indicate that Honor will provide the phone with a screen that supports a refresh rate of no less than 120 Hz for a smoother usage experience.

The imaging system includes a 108-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 16-megapixel front camera, with the absence of a telephoto lens. Unusually for economic versions, the phone comes with a frame made of aluminum instead of plastic to give it greater durability, and the leaked images show the presence of a dedicated button for taking photos on the right side of the frame to facilitate the photography experience.
