Lenovo launched its new 15-inch laptop to provide a flexible and advanced user experience. This transformative device comes with the option of adding a wonderful OLED screen that supports a refresh rate of 165 Hz, as the new IdeaPad 5a 2-in-1 computer relies on the advanced Gorgon Point platform from AMD to replace older versions that relied on the Strix Point architecture and were available in a size of 16 inches.
Lenovo has begun launching this new version in the North American and Australian markets as a first step. This device is not currently available in the same markets that received the smaller version, as stores in the Eurozone and the United Kingdom are still displaying the device as an upcoming product soon, while multiple processor options are available, up to the powerful Ryzen AI 7 445 processor, to meet the requirements of users looking for superior performance and excellent response speed.

The primary processor available in this device varies depending on the geographical region to suit the aspirations of the markets. The North American version starts with the economical Ryzen AI 5 430 processor, while the Australian market gets the more powerful Ryzen AI 5 435 processor as a basic option. The computer supports the allocation of DDR5-5600 random access memory of up to 32 GB with a storage space of 1 TB, and is available in two elegant color options, including cosmic blue and lunar grey.
Lenovo offers two different screen options to meet the needs of all users, whether for work or entertainment. The first option starts with an IPS screen that supports a resolution of 1200p and a refresh rate of 60 Hz with a brightness of 400 nits, while the second and finest option is a stunning OLED screen that supports a resolution of 1600p and a refresh rate of 165 Hz with a brightness of up to 500 nits and full coverage of the DCI-P3 color space to ensure vibrant colors.
The price of this new computer starts at 899 US dollars in the United States and 1239 Canadian dollars in Canada for the basic version equipped with 16 GB of RAM. The price of the similar Australian version is about 1,150 US dollars or 1,679 Australian dollars, while prices rise to 1,289 US dollars, 1,809 Canadian dollars, and 1,809 Australian dollars when choosing the highest-end version equipped with a powerful processor, 32 GB of RAM, an OLED screen, and a smart pen.
