TCL officially launched its latest smart TV, Q9M Pro SQD-Mini LED TV, in the Chinese market to enhance the home entertainment experience. This completely new model comes alongside the launch of the giant Max163M and Max163M Pro screens, to be a direct successor to the older Q9L Pro QD-Mini LED TV, which was launched in the same market during the year 2025. TCL provides five different size options starting from 55 inches and up to 98 inches to meet all user needs and spaces.

This new TV features an ultra-high 4K display resolution while supporting a basic refresh rate of 150 Hz, which can be boosted up to 300 Hz to ensure exceptional smoothness. This version outperforms its predecessor by offering improved and richer colors with 100% coverage of the BT.2020 color space, while the 55-inch model provides 800 dimming zones, and the 98-inch model includes 3,552 dimming zones to provide amazing contrast, with a peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits with XDR technology, a significant increase from the previous version, which provided only 4,500 nits.

TCL has provided this pioneering TV with a wide range of advanced optical technologies to provide a complete cinematic viewing experience. The device supports multiple features, including MEMC technology to ensure smooth movement, full compatibility with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ standards, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology dedicated to improving the gaming experience. The TV’s operation depends on the company’s Spirit Control System 3.0 to ensure a smooth and responsive user interface that meets the aspirations of professionals.

The new version maintains the same powerful and integrated 2.2.1 audio system from Onkyo, which proved its high efficiency in the previous generation. The device offers excellent wired and wireless connectivity options, including four HDMI 2.1 ports to connect various gaming and multimedia devices at high speed, in addition to support for modern Wi-Fi 6 networks to ensure a stable and fast Internet connection that allows users to stream high-resolution content without any annoying interruptions or delays.

This new collection is currently available for direct purchase in China at competitive prices starting from 6,199 Chinese yuan, equivalent to about 891 US dollars, for the smaller model. The price of the giant 98-inch version reaches 19,999 Chinese yuan, which is equivalent to about 2,875 US dollars. The company has not yet announced any official plans to launch this model in global markets such as the United States of America, where it currently sells the 85-inch 2026 X11L QD-Mini LED TV at a price of 7,998 dollars.
