TCL has officially announced the opening of pre-orders for its latest versions of its leading smart TVs, the Soon.
The symbol SQD in the product name refers to the Super Quantum Dots technology, which is designed to provide high-quality color reproduction. The company explained that this series achieves exceptional color performance covering the entire BT.2020 color range by combining these quantum dots with the CSOT UltraColor Filter and a custom processing algorithm.
In terms of performance, these 4K displays offer a maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz with support for FreeSync Premium Pro adaptive sync technology when connected to a compatible source. They also feature an amazing peak brightness that is officially rated at 10,000 nits with up to 20,000 dimming zones, which allows for amazing contrast through precise control of the background lighting. These devices work with the Google TV system and include four ports. HDMI 2.1 One of them supports HDMI eARC technology.
