Sony is preparing to launch the new generation of its flagship WF-1000X headphones in less than a week, as the company published a teaser clip for the launch scheduled for February 12. This comes just three weeks after the launch of the LinkBuds Clip headphones.
Sony launched its last flagship headphones, the WF-1000XM5, in 2023, so its successor is very late. A recent leak revealed the first look at the new XM6 headphones.
The WF-1000XM6 headphones come with an updated design, as the ear appears wider than its predecessor and contains an additional microphone network, and the charging case appears larger compared to the XM5.
Although detailed specifications are not yet available, we know that the XM6 will come with IPX4 water resistance and will be available in at least two colors, black and silver, and its prices are expected to range between $300 and $350.
