During its participation in the GDC 2026 conference, Samsung revealed a greater focus on supporting content for the Odyssey 3D platform, which provides a 3D gaming experience without the need for glasses.

The company explained that the library of games supporting this technology will grow from more than 60 games currently to more than 120 games by the end of 2026.

Samsung plans to add Hell Is Us to the platform during the month of March, followed by Cronos: The New Dawn later this year on the Odyssey 3D Hub platform. This trend reflects the company’s attempt to present Odyssey 3D as an integrated gaming platform and not just a feature on a screen.

Samsung also announced its cooperation with CD PROJEKT RED studio to support HDR10+ gaming technology in the game Cyberpunk 2077, in addition to a partnership with Pearl Abyss to add the same technology to the game Crimson Desert. This technology automatically analyzes scenes and frames to improve HDR performance during gameplay.

On the hardware side, Samsung indicated that the Odyssey 3D screen relies on eye-tracking technologies and determining the viewing angle to provide a 3D effect that adapts in real time to the user’s location.

The company also confirmed that it is working to launch a new 32-inch version of the screen before the end of the year, in addition to the current 27-inch model.
