The Geekbench platform revealed initial details of the upcoming Samsung budget phone, the Galaxy A27, a successor to the Galaxy A26 phone that was launched in March 2025.
The new phone comes with the model number “SM-A276B” and is expected to be equipped with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor and 6 GB of RAM.
This octa-core processor is based on a 4nm manufacturing accuracy, and includes an Adreno 710 graphics processing unit with support for 5G networks, and it was previously used in the Galaxy A36 phone that was launched last year.

Test results showed that the Galaxy A27 scored 777 points in the single-core test and 1,802 points in the multi-core test, which is lower than the performance of the Galaxy A26 with the Exynos 1380 processor, which scored 1,008 and 2,857, respectively.
However, it is noted that these numbers represent an initial test and the phone’s performance may improve after further improvements.
The listing also showed that the phone runs on Android 16, and is expected to come with a 5,000 mAh battery. So far, Samsung has not revealed an official launch date for the phone, while the company recently launched the mid-range Galaxy A37 and A57 phones.
