Recent reports indicate that OnePlus intends to withdraw from global markets, including Europe and North America, as early as April 2026, according to internal sources.
This trend reflects a strategic shift towards focusing on the Chinese market and the economic category in India, which may mean ending the company’s presence in a large number of global markets.
This development comes in conjunction with the departure of the CEO of the OnePlus branch in India and his return to China, in addition to the deepening of the company’s merger with Oppo, where OnePlus has been operating as a sub-brand since 2021.

Analysts believe that high component costs and supply chain crises, especially in the memory sector, are among the most prominent reasons behind this decision. The end of cooperation with Hasselblad also indicates a decline in interest in strengthening the brand’s position globally.
Although the company previously confirmed that it will continue to support current users with updates and after-sales services, any actual withdrawal may raise questions about the future of users outside the core markets.
Until now, OnePlus devices are still available in global markets, and the company has not issued an official comment on this news.
