Last October, Nintendo announced the launch of a special version of the Switch 2 Pro controller inspired by the game Resident Evil Requiem, the latest part of the famous horror series. With the game officially released on various platforms, including Switch 2, the company began selling the new controller in the markets.

The Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller Resident Evil Requiem Edition retails for $99.99, ten dollars more than the standard version. It is currently available through the official Nintendo Store as well as a number of authorized retailers.

The special edition adopts a dark Gunmetal Black color with a shiny metallic touch, while its front panel is decorated with details inspired by newspaper clippings that appear in the game. Unlike the regular version, which comes with light gray shoulder buttons, this version comes with completely black shoulder buttons to enhance the dark character of the design.

In terms of specifications, the special edition does not differ from the standard edition; It supports HD Rumble 2 technology, provides Amiibo support, and includes motion controls, a dedicated C button for GameChat, in addition to a headphone port and programmable GL and GR rear buttons.
