Apple is rolling out a new update for the AirTag 2, which mainly focuses on improving the protection feature against unwanted tracking.

The update raises the system version number to 3.0.45, which includes general fixes and performance improvements, in addition to an important development in the tracking alert feature.

The feature alerts the user if there is an unknown AirTag moving with him, with the ability to use the Precision Finding feature to determine its precise location. The sound coming from the device has also become clearer, making it easier to find faster.

The update is installed automatically without user intervention, and the version can be checked via the Find My application.
