The new Razr 70 phone from Motorola appeared in a group of leaked images before its expected official launch in global markets. These early leaks indicate that the company has not made radical changes to the external design, as the upcoming economical version of the foldable phone series appears very similar to the previous version, the Razr 60, which achieved notable success among users.
Motorola is preparing to unveil its latest foldable devices in the near future to continue competing in this sector. Although the company preferred not to reveal any details during its participation in the World Phone Congress, which was held in Barcelona last week, its history indicates that the date is approaching, as it launched the Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra phones last April, in addition to a third version that was launched in North America.
Last month, the Razr 70 and Razr 70 Ultra phones passed through several regulatory bodies to obtain the necessary approvals. Although these initial leaks confirmed the company’s plans to launch these phones globally, they did not provide any clear technical specifications, until the Chinese Communications Authority intervened to fully reveal the internal specifications and external design of the new Razr 70 phone to the public.
Looking at the listed images published by the Chinese authority, the new phone can easily be confused with the Razr 60 version at first glance due to their great similarity. Motorola has maintained the same usual design approach by integrating two external cameras with an LED flash inside an external cover screen of a suitable size to meet the quick needs of users without the need to open the phone completely.
The light purple color that appeared in the pictures is the most prominent evidence that we are facing a completely new device from the company. The main changes expected in this generation focus on upgrading the imaging system by adding a 50-megapixel telephoto camera that supports optical zoom up to 3 times, in addition to providing the phone with a new octa-core processor to provide stronger and more efficient performance than previous versions.
