LG has finally launched its new 39-inch UltraGear OLED 39GX950B gaming monitor. This screen was available in the United States before other markets, offering a display resolution of 5K2K with a refresh rate of 165 Hz and a full panel brightness of 335 nits. LG shared new details about this long-awaited screen last week after displaying it before CES 2026 and teasing its imminent launch in January, later confirming its arrival in Japan on April 9 at 14:00 local time.

LG listed the same screen on its Canadian website without revealing pricing details yet, while it quietly launched it in the American market. This new screen is superior to the older version, the UltraGear OLED 39GX900A, which is available at a price of 699 US dollars, in several aspects, as it offers a display resolution of 5120 by 2160 pixels instead of 1440p, and provides a brightness of 335 nits in SDR mode and up to 1500 nits when HDR technology is activated, in addition to supporting a refresh rate of 165 Hz that can be increased to up to 330 Hz when reduced to 1080p.

LG is currently offering its new screen in the United States at a price of $1,799, with an offer that includes a two-year premium care plan for only $1. This special offer continues until next May 4, after which pre-orders are expected to be shipped to users.
