Lenovo has now revealed the first generation ThinkPad X13 Detachable Computer, less than a month after the 2-in-1 computer was leaked online. As its name suggests, the ThinkPad X13 computer features a 13-inch screen. The device not only competes with the Surface Pro 11 computer in principle, but it also features the same 3:2 aspect ratio as the famous 2-in-1 computer from Microsoft (currently available for $1,049 on Amazon).
Additionally, the 1st Gen ThinkPad Furthermore, Lenovo includes up to 64GB of LPDDR5x-7466 RAM, 1TB of M.2 2242 storage, and dual Thunderbolt 4 ports inside a chassis that measures 290 x 210 x 9.3mm and weighs 1.25kg, including the keyboard cover.

Unfortunately, Lenovo only installs a 45Wh battery; While Microsoft includes 47 watt-hour and 53 watt-hour batteries inside the IPS and OLED versions of the Surface Pro 11 computer, respectively. So far, Lenovo has confirmed that the 1st Gen ThinkPad X13 Detachable will be available with up to 3 Series Intel Core Ultra U7V Pro processors. This will likely be the Core Ultra 7 365 or Core Ultra 7 366h processor with 8 and 16 cores respectively.
Lenovo plans to release the first generation ThinkPad X13 Detachable in July across Africa, Europe and the Middle East. Pricing will start at €1,949 (about $2,291) in the eurozone. However, Lenovo is yet to confirm full pricing or availability just yet.
