Lenovo has released a new 16-inch gaming laptop. The laptop, available worldwide, combines a 240Hz OLED display with an 84Wh battery and AMD Ryzen AI400 processors. Lenovo also equips the Legion 7a with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics processing unit and 32GB of RAM, which is noticeably smaller than the current Legion 7i.
Lenovo is gearing up to launch a slew of new devices at Mobile World Congress 2026 based on recent leaks. Ultimately, Lenovo is unlikely to start selling these devices for a while in most cases. To this end, one of the gaming laptops that it announced during the 2026 Consumer Electronics Show has just become available globally.
Specifically, Lenovo is now selling the Legion 7a 11th Gen worldwide. As a reminder, the Legion 7a serves as a more power-efficient alternative to the 10th Gen Legion 7i (currently available for $1,799 on Amazon). The Legion 7a is also thinner and lighter than the Legion 7i, as it weighs 1.85 kg.

Unfortunately, Lenovo limits the Legion 7a to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU with 8GB of video RAM. At launch, Lenovo is offering Ryzen AI7 450 and Ryzen AI9 HX470 processors with 32GB of soldered LPDDR5 X8533 RAM. The Legion 7a features the same 16-inch 2.5K OLED display, 500 nits brightness, and 240Hz refresh rate as its Legion 7i counterpart, as well as an 84 Wh battery.
As it stands, we have found listings for the device in Australia, Canada, France, Ireland, Spain, the UK, and the US. Prices start at AU$4,079, CAD 2,889.99, €2,399, £2,199.99, and US$2,079.99, respectively. Please note that Eurozone rates vary between member states. More details about the Legion 7A can be found in our launch article.
