Lenovo today announced its global partnership with David Beckham, which brings together one of the most prominent sports figures in the world and one of the most important leading technology companies in the world.
This collaboration reinforces Lenovo’s growing role in the world of football, which includes being Official technical partner of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ and FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™. This first-of-its-kind partnership with Lenovo will see David Beckham collaborate with the company to develop sports solutions powered by artificial intelligence, in order to create a qualitative shift in the game of football for clubs, players, referees and fans, especially with regard to improving the performance of teams, providing better experiences for fans, enabling more efficient operations, and attracting new sources of income through innovation powered by artificial intelligence.
By managing his own projects, David Beckham offers a vision that goes beyond the playing field. Whether it’s a professional managing their day from a single device, a small business owner seeking to achieve more with less, or a founder rethinking the way their entire teams work, David Beckham will help embody the core idea of this collaboration: that the right technology, powered by artificial intelligence, can help anyone work at their best.

David Beckham will also appear in Lenovo’s upcoming global marketing campaign, set to launch in May, one month before the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup™.
Commenting on this partnership, David Beckham said: “Lenovo is a leading global company with a proven track record around the world. It is an honor to collaborate with Lenovo at the FIFA World Cup and beyond. Football has always been defined by talent, instinct, hard work and unforgettable moments that make it special. Today, artificial intelligence and data are helping us understand the sport more deeply, influencing how players and coaches prepare and how fans interact with the game. I look forward to learning more. “For Lenovo’s pioneering work that breaks new ground and expands access to the game.”
For his part, Yuanqing Yang, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lenovo, added: “David is not only a prominent global figure in the worlds of football, business and culture, but he also understands the power of innovation to change the world, which makes him the ideal partner to help us demonstrate how advanced artificial intelligence can improve lives and increase work efficiency for everyone.”
