The leakers shared photos of prototypes of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, in addition to Apple’s first foldable phone. These images are consistent with previous rumors about the design of the three devices, as these models are usually used as an alternative to real devices for testing by accessory manufacturers to produce covers before the official announcement, which requires high accuracy in their details. The new Pro phones appear in a design similar to previous versions, with a noticeable difference, which is the reduced size of the Dynamic Island feature.

The foldable phone features a completely new design that resembles the shape of a passport, different from any iPhone we have seen previously. The models confirm some previous expectations, such as arranging the dual camera horizontally and placing the volume control buttons at the top, but they show fundamental differences, most notably the lack of a unibody design with a glass window for wireless charging, which indicates that the entire back may be made of glass similar to the iPhone Air. The models also showed that the camera protrusion does not extend the entire width of the device, but rather stops at about three-quarters of the distance on the back.

Expectations indicate that this foldable phone will come with a 7.8-inch internal screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio similar to the iPad, and a 5.5-inch external screen, with a titanium frame that is only 4.5 mm thick. The device will offer an advanced screen with less wrinkles and supports Touch ID fingerprint technology, and its price is expected to start at about 2000 US dollars. Despite expectations that this new collection will be launched during the upcoming fall season, the latest reports hint at the possibility of postponing the launch of the foldable version.
