The Saudi Health Council directed users of smart mobile phones and electronic platforms to use a number of platforms launched by the National Center for Health Information with the aim of providing important information about the new Corona virus (Covid-19).
The center stated through a tweet on Twitter that the three announced platforms provide comprehensive interactive services about the new Corona virus, in addition to an interactive map to follow the numbers and cases of Corona virus infection around the world, as well as a smart assistant to respond to inquiries in different languages. Corona Platform The Center stated that the “Corona Platform” is a comprehensive interactive platform that provides all information about the new Corona virus, as well as many other features, which include:
- Monitoring and following up on statistics around the world, real-time updates on everything related to the virus, illustrative charts and graphs, display of the latest news about the virus.
- Educational content to educate users
- A presentation on the status of the most important conferences affected by the virus
- A guide to private isolation hospitals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
- Support for Arabic and English languages

The National Center for Health Information also announced the launch of the “Corona Map”, which is an application available for smart phones to follow the latest Corona developments, in addition to the rates and data of the spread of the virus and the latest updates around the world, as the application provides: A display of the latest data and updates automatically Statistics on deaths and cases of those infected and recovering from the virus Charts for the countries most affected by the virus An illustrative map of the virus at the level of countries and cities around the world “Bashayer Bot” service, the smart assistant dedicated to answering user inquiries Support for the Arabic and English languages Corona Bashayer Map bot
In a related context, the National Center announced the launch of the “Bashaer Bot” service, which is a virtual assistant that works with artificial intelligence to respond to all inquiries and questions related to the Corona virus in Arabic and English. The virtual assistant works to provide the following services: Helping users, by communicating with them about what is related to the Corona virus, and responding to their inquiries through specific interactive paths. The ability to handle conversations related to the Corona virus immediately, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It helps with initial diagnosis, and contains data about the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in addition to other countries. It enables users to access an interactive platform to follow the number of cases and statistics about the epidemic, in addition to other services. The Saudi Health Council, represented by the National Center for Health Information, confirmed the provision of more services to citizens and residents of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in order to make them aware of all the necessary information about the new Corona virus.
