Apple is preparing to provide major updates supported by artificial intelligence in iOS 27, as reports indicate the development of a new feature in the iPhone keyboard to improve auto-correction.
The upcoming feature relies on providing alternative word suggestions while writing, in a similar style to tools such as Grammarly, giving the user a smarter and more accurate experience.
This development also comes after improvements that Apple recently introduced in iOS 26.4 to increase the efficiency of auto-correction, but the new update may provide a more advanced level of useful suggestions.
It is expected that this feature will be based on Apple Intelligence technologies, which may make it exclusive to devices that support artificial intelligence capabilities.
On the other hand, iOS 27 includes broader improvements that include Siri, such as the ability to handle multiple commands in one request, and the system will be fully revealed during the WWDC conference on June 8.
