Google is preparing to compete with the Whoop device with a smart watch without a screen inspired by Fitbit. The device was promoted by NBA star Steph Curry, who last year entered into a long-term partnership with Google as a performance consultant for the areas of health, Pixel devices and Cloud services.
Although there are no exact specifications or clear images available for the device, its Whoop-inspired design appears with a braided fabric bracelet and a metal buckle.
A report from Bloomberg News said that Google’s health tracker will come with a subscription service that includes an artificial intelligence-based personal health coach.

Unlike Whoop, which links devices directly to the subscription service, Google will sell its bracelet separately. Some health tracking features will be free, while more advanced metrics will remain only available through a subscription.
