Google is adding a new feature to the Google Play Store that allows searching within reviews of applications and games, through a search bar that appears directly in the reviews section.

This addition makes it easier to find specific keywords within reviews, which helps users know the presence of a specific feature or user experience without having to manually read a large number of comments.

Google began testing this feature since last November, before now starting to gradually roll it out to all users via a recent update to the Play Store. As usual, it may take some time for it to reach all devices.

The search bar can be accessed by opening the page of any application, then entering the reviews section and choosing to view all reviews, where the bar appears at the top. It can also be accessed via the search icon within the review summary.

Once you enter two or more words, the store displays reviews that include those exact words. Although the feature does not support semantic search yet, it offers suggestions for common phrases below the search bar to facilitate quick access.

This step is a practical improvement to the user experience, with expectations that more advanced search capabilities will be added in future updates.
