The Gigabyte GO27Q24G is a new glossy WOLED display with a resolution of 1440p with a 240Hz refresh rate and a USB-C port. The screen promises sharper, clearer images than matte OLED panels, and is now available in China for less than $400, with a global release expected later.
Gigabyte has now launched the GO27Q24G monitor in China, where it is currently listed at 2,599 yuan (about $376). While this price will certainly be higher in the US due to tariffs, it still makes for one of the more affordable QHD 240Hz bright OLED options. The display uses an older MLA+ WOLED panel, although it features the same RealBlack Glossy coating as the MO27Q28GR model, which has a newer Tandem WOLED panel.
The GO27Q24G appeared on Gigabyte’s global website earlier this year, so a wider rollout is likely in the works. However, it is currently only available for pre-order in China.
Sharper, clearer gaming with Glossy WOLED
At its core, the Gigabyte GO27Q24G is a QHD OLED display with a 2560 x 1440 resolution with a 240Hz refresh rate. Its main selling point is the glossy coating, which is known for providing sharper, clearer images without the grainy effect found in matte panels. Colors will also be more prominent here, with deeper blacks for excellent contrast. However, reflections will be more noticeable compared to matte displays, especially in direct light sources, such as bright windows.

However, with a peak brightness of 1,300 nits in HDR, it should help reduce glare in brighter rooms. Additionally, the GO27Q24G features Gigabyte’s HyperNits technology, which can boost brightness by up to 30% without clipping highlights. Other specifications include DisplayHDR True Black 400, 99% DCI-P3 coverage, and support for both G-Sync and FreeSync. For connectivity, it includes HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 1.4, a headphone jack, and USB-C with 15W Power Delivery.
The Gigabyte GO27Q24G monitor is now available for pre-order in China via JD.com for the equivalent of $376.
