DJI is preparing to deal a strong blow to its competitors in the drone market by launching its new version, Avata 360, at very competitive prices. Through this bold strategy, the company aims to outperform prominent competitors such as the A1 Anti-Gravity aircraft, and expectations even indicate that the new aircraft may be available at a lower price than the previous version, Avata 2, to attract a wider category of users.

The company began its promotional campaign this week by publishing a mysterious teaser on its official social media platforms. The company then contented itself with hinting that there was a new drone under development, before recent leaks came to confirm almost definitively that the company is about to replace its famous Avata 2 drone with a newer version that carries many surprises.

Technical leaker Jasper Ellins provided additional details about the AFATA 360 before its official unveiling date. Ellens confirmed that the images that appeared recently showing the design of the aircraft and the shape of the retail packaging are completely accurate images, which suggests the authenticity of the other images that were leaked and circulated through the Facebook e-commerce platform store during the past few days.

The surprises did not stop there, as Ellens indicated that the new aircraft will support the use of interchangeable lenses installed directly in the aircraft structure. It is expected that these lenses will be sold in packs containing two lenses at a price of $50, while additional smart flight batteries will be sold at a price of about $70, and each battery comes with a capacity of 38.6 watt-hours to ensure satisfactory flight times.

Ellenz expects the new plane to be launched at a price of about $499, and although an exact launch date has not been set yet, the leaker confirms that the company will share a new teaser on March 12. With plans to publish multiple video clips in the coming weeks, it seems unlikely that the company will officially launch the plane on the market before the beginning of April 2026.
