Baseus in China has launched a new magnetic power bank called PicoGo Air, which features a slim design measuring 6.9 mm thick, making it slightly thicker than Xiaomi’s UltraThin 5000 magnetic power bank, which is 6 mm thick. It is also slightly heavier than its competitor, but the basic specifications remain similar.

The new power bank has a nominal capacity of 5,000 mAh, and supports fast magnetic wireless charging of up to 15W, while wired charging reaches 22.5W, with the same capacity as the Xiaomi bank.

A distinctive feature of the PicoGo Air is the PowerSense NFC feature, which allows users to monitor the battery status in detail via the accompanying phone app.

The company also includes a heat dissipation structure called “Glacier Heat Dissipation Structure”, which works in parallel with an advanced VC cooler and an aluminum chassis to maintain the temperature during charging. The bank also supports adaptive temperature control to ensure stable and safe charging.

The power bank comes with a short cable that supports fast charging up to 60W. Additionally, the design features Apple-style curved corners, three sleek metal finishes, and powerful built-in magnets to secure the device.

The Baseus PicoGo Air was launched in China at a price of 299 yuan, or about $43.44, while the company has not yet announced the international launch date or global availability.
