Performance tests prove the superiority of Apple’s new M5 Pro and M5 Max processors in content creation applications, as their results in PugetBench tests for applications such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and DaVinci Resolve were higher than most competitors.

Comparisons show the superiority of MacBook Pro devices equipped with the M5 Max chip, especially in graphics-based tasks, as it exceeded the performance of powerful devices running cards such as the RTX 5090. The M5 Pro version also provided very close or better performance in some cases.

On the other hand, the better performance of the 16-inch version of the MacBook Pro confirms its ability to exploit the full power of the processor compared to the 14-inch version, which remains powerful but relatively less efficient.

In contrast, competing Windows machines, even with the latest AMD or Intel processors and RTX cards, were unable to match the performance of the M5 chips in most creative work scenarios.
