Apple announced the opening of pre-orders for AirPods Max 2 headphones, after their official unveiling earlier this month, with shipping beginning during early April.

The headphones come at a price of $549, and work with the new H2 chip, which provides a noticeable improvement in active noise isolation by up to 1.5 times. It also supports features such as Adaptive Audio and instant translation, in addition to conversation recognition.

The headphones also offer Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, with a new high dynamic range subwoofer to improve sound quality. The Digital Crown can be used as a button to take photos on the iPhone.

In terms of battery, AirPods Max 2 provide a usage life of up to 20 hours with noise isolation activated, while supporting charging via the USB-C port.
