The Lenovo Legion Y700 5G is set to launch soon in China, and it looks like the company will also be showcasing it at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026. Before the official reveal, a leak from a reliable source showed the gaming tablet, equipped with a fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, with a new and attractive lime green color option.
Lenovo has been teasing the fifth generation Legion Y700 in China for some time, and although the previous generation tablet was not released globally, the situation may be different with this version. Reliable leaker “Evan Blass” (@evleaks) leaked a set of images of the products that the brand is expected to display at the 2026 Mobile World Congress, and the gaming tablet was among them.
Of the two leaked images of the upcoming fifth generation Legion Tab, one shows the gaming tablet in an attractive new color option. Looking back, the official account on Weibo teased the gaming tablet, equipped with a fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, in two black and white color options. According to the leak, the third option will be lime green.
This is almost the only new information revealed in the leak published by (@evleaks). The leaker didn’t share any other details, but Lenovo has already shared a lot about its upcoming gaming tablet.
Through one of the official teasers, the company confirmed that the fifth generation Legion Tab will feature an 8.8-inch LCD screen with a refresh rate of 165 Hz and a brightness rate of 800 nits. While Lenovo has not yet confirmed this, it is rumored that the gaming tablet will come equipped with a fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which is the latest leading and advanced processor currently, which will be coupled with up to 24 GB of random access memory (RAM).
Another reliable leaker, Digital Chat Station, shared that Lenovo will integrate a 9,000 mAh battery, which should offer good runtimes, and it will reportedly support 68W fast charging (the 100W Anker Prime charger is currently priced at $59.99 on Amazon). Other than that, the company recently shared that the tablet will come with artificial intelligence features that will enhance the overall gaming experience.
There is no official statement from Lenovo regarding the launch yet. But the upside is that Mobile World Congress 2026 is right around the corner, so there’s not much of a wait.
