Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Sports, congratulated the delegation of the national bow and arrow team for boys and girls, on the outstanding performance and honorable results they achieved during the African Bow and Arrow Championship competitions, which were held in Côte d’Ivoire from November 19 to 24, led by the technical director, Dr. Maged Mohie, and the delegation was headed by Dr. Moataz Nour El-Din.

The Minister of Sports stressed that these achievements reflect the spirit of high competition and the distinguished technical level of the players, praising the continuous support from the political leadership in discovering and refining sports talent, and enhancing Egypt’s position on the continental and international arena, noting the Ministry’s keenness to continue supporting promising champions and providing them with all means of success.
The results were as follows: Noura Al-Sabbagh achieved the gold in the compound arch, Noray Al-Sayyed won the gold in the singles for the junior girls under 18 years, Noray Al-Sayyid and Ismail Ezz El-Din won the gold in the mixed doubles, Ismail Ezz El-Din won the silver in the singles in the junior girls under-18 years, and Ismail Ezz El-Din, Ahmed Mohsen and Zain El-Din Mohamed won the silver in the junior teams under 18 years.
