Major General Tariq Marzouk, Governor of Dakahlia, decided to take strict legal measures against shops occupying public streets, as part of his efforts to preserve the civilized appearance and facilitate traffic.

The decisions included imposing a daily fine on shop occupancy, calculated according to the area of ​​occupancy, in addition to closing any shop that repeats the violation, provided that it is not reopened except after a personal presentation to the governor.

The governor also stressed the importance of obtaining state rights, preventing visual pollution, and removing all types of unlicensed occupancy to facilitate traffic for citizens.

The instructions also came to lift occupancy around the electoral committees and the streets leading to them, apply the maximum fines to violators, and intensify cleaning work to ensure the civilized appearance of the streets and squares.

This came during the governor’s inspection tour today in the streets of the cities of Mansoura and Talkha to check on the level of services provided to citizens.
