Journalist Amr Adeeb suggested seeking help from the private sector in the new media city project, pointing out that businessman Naguib Sawiris is interested in art.

Amr Adib added, while presenting the Al-Hekaya program on MBC Egypt: Naguib Sawiris is a master of the art of what you say to him. Come, come with us and bring your billions and your relationships.
He continued: I don’t know if the current production city is profitable or not, whether it’s profitable or not. You share the land with the private sector and it gets money. Will it remain our investment for the rest of our lives if we sell land?!
Earlier, Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly revealed the features of the new media city project, which will be near and overlook the Al-Ahram area.
Madbouly confirmed during a press conference that the Media City will have studios and models for filming international films, similar to major cities in the world such as the United States of America and India.
He added that the Media City will be where Egyptian and international films will be filmed, and it will also contain hotels for work teams to stay in.
